Welcome to Applied Harmony
While many challenges are beyond our direct influence, the one place we hold full authority is in how we think, feel, and respond. I created Applied Harmony to share tools and resources that help you create lasting change where it matters most — within yourself.
Through my books, trainings, and consultations, I focus on developing balance, resilience, and clarity to sustain you and expand your capacity to lead, teach, and serve with excellence over the long term.
My work reflects a core belief that when we transform ourselves, we become a steady force for positive change in every community we touch.
Meet Katrina Huels

"Katrina's writing reflects a deep understanding of how neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and professional practice intersect to create meaningful and lasting change that elevates how people live, work, and relate to others."
Transformational Tools for Special Educators gives you the power to change the impact of stress that leads to burnout so that you can excel and thrive in your important role.

Grounded in neurology and emotional intelligence research, this resource equips educators with practical, time-efficient strategies that fit into the realities of the school day.

The Transformational Tools for Special Educators Workbook is an invaluable companion to the published book, spanning over 100 pages. It begins with an assessment of your personal level of burnout and moves step by step through each chapter, offering aligned exercises, reflection prompts, and application activities. More than a supplement, it is a hands-on guide to help you actively apply the book’s strategies.
The Motivation Toolkit is a concise booklet that moves far beyond generic motivation tips and provides you with a solid toolkit for managing your inner drive not just once, but repeatedly, across different goals, projects, and changing seasons of life. This resource provides practical, research-backed tools that you can easily integrate into your personal and professional life. Each comes with real-world examples and clear frameworks for application.
Available in paperback or ebook.
